I get so bored behind the counter.

At least I managed to sign a member in today. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. And teens come in and pay for parking. So my dad is buying a gym and I kind of have a job but I get payed very little. The only thing I want money for is a college class or two in the spring though.

Or maybe I'll just get a cheap car.

I really need to continue working on the horse book before I forget about it completely. It's not as if the subject matter is hard. It's funny, people want me to illustrate their books desperately UNTIL I mention that I want compensation. Then it's more like NO WAY. Will I ever make money at this? I hope so. Another guy wanted me to illustrate his book so much so he kept pestering me about it. (I had illustrated for him for free) But when payment was mentioned I didn't hear back. Most recently, someone wanted me to design an owl tattoo for them and expected it for free, because when I mentioned payment they changed their minds.

So I guess my artwork is worth NOTHING. I understand that people can't afford it sometimes but when they expect it for free, but won't pay for it, I am a little insulted.

So I guess all's I'm saying is NO I do not accept requests, and YES I do accept commissions. Also if you have a book you're dying to illustrate contact me and we can negotiate something. I'm not unreasonable, but I'm not free anymore. The horse book is the last one I'm doing for free.

ahh glad to get that off my chest.

haha neat. I know where Hollis is. There's a nice state park there I used to frequent a lot at Silver Lake.

lol silver lake oh god. you ever use beaver brook? we live right on it.

risd- LOVED the school, education, guidance, etc. the people not so much. i don't miss it. but then i was a slacker and a social layabout so i have no real say there. GO FOR IT!

Petty. I meant that you were being petty.

That's fine, but it doesn't mean that you have to take it out on people who do. We're not meaning to offend you; your intense dislike of slash has nothing to do with Dogss or me or anyone else who draws it. Your boyfriend's childhood has not been murdered by anything. He's free to like what he wants and anything he sees shouldn't change that. If he doesn't like it then it shouldn't bother him. If it does than he should try to ignore it.

If it is honestly the worst thing that has happened to you, I really feel bad for you.
